1. SCOPE OF POLICY Stylo Developments, Inc (herein referred to as "Stylo Developments") respects the privacy of individuals and has prepared this policy to inform individuals of Stylo Development's privacy policy concerning the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information. This Privacy Policy, in conjunction with Stylo Development’s related policies and practices, is designed to explain what personal information Stylo Developments collects, uses and discloses. This privacy policy also explains how an individual's personal information is maintained and secured from inappropriate use or disclosure. The Stylo Developments Privacy Policy applies in respect of all activities of Stylo Developments that are governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) and relevant provincial legislation, including the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) (collectively referred to herein as "Canadian Privacy Legislation").

PERSONAL INFORMATION Within this Privacy Policy, personal information refers to any information about an identifiable individual, other than that person's business title or business contact information (i.e., business phone number, business address, title). Personal information does not include information that cannot be associated with or tracked back to an identifiable individual.

PRIVACY PRINCIPLES As part of its commitment to maintain the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of personal information under its control, Stylo Developments has established certain privacy principles to govern its actions as they relate to the use of personal information. These privacy principles provide a structure to Stylo Development's privacy compliance regime and assist Stylo Developments to fulfill its commitment to maintain the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of personal information under its control. These principles are intended as guidelines only, with the specific application of the privacy principles being set out in the Employee Privacy Policy and the Customer Privacy Policy.
- a. Stylo Developments will be accountable to the individuals whose personal information is under Stylo Development's control.
- b. Stylo Developments will take reasonable steps to inform individuals as to the purpose for which their personal information is collected, used, retained or disclosed by Stylo Developments
- c. Stylo Developments will endeavor to obtain the consent of each individual providing personal information to it for the collection, use or disclosure of such personal information, except where required or permitted by law.

Stylo Developments, Inc., (herein referred to as "Stylo Developments") is committed to respecting the privacy of the customers and prospective customers with whom Stylo Developments does business. Therefore, Stylo Developments has prepared this Policy Statement to inform our customers and prospective customers of our policy and practices concerning the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information. This Policy Statement governs personal information collected from and about individual customers and prospective customers with whom Stylo Developments works. It does not govern personal information Stylo Developments collects from and about our employees and other individuals, the protection of which is governed by other Stylo Developments policies. 2. THE COLLECTION, USE & DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
For the purposes of this Policy:
"External associate" means an individual, other than a Stylo Developments representative, who is not an employee of Stylo Developments. An external associate may be an individual or an employee of an organization with which Stylo Developments has dealings in the normal course of business. Examples of external associates include independent contractors and sub-contractors or service providers, land developers, legal counsel and consultants; "Personal information" means any information, recorded in any form, about an identifiable individual, but does not include business contact information. As a customer or prospective customer, your provision of personal information to Stylo Developments means that you agree and consent that we may collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, we recommend that you not provide any personal information to Stylo Developments. Unfortunately, certain services can only be offered if you provide personal information to Stylo Developments. Consequently, if you choose not provide us with any required personal information, Stylo Developments may not be able to offer you those services. Stylo Developments uses the personal information provided verbally or in writing (including via electronic media such as e-mail or the Internet) by customers and prospective customers in order to:
* Gather information about customers and prospective customers to better meet their needs for both residential and recreational residences and properties;
* Manage our relationship with customers and prospective customers;
* Manage Stylo Development's relationship with External Associates;
* Provide information and make plans for the construction of residences for customers and prospective customers;
* Inform customers, former customers and prospective customers of new products and offerings;
* Gather information in survey form that allows Stylo Developments to determine customer preferences and/or the degree of satisfaction that customers have with Stylo Developments products and services;
* Provide testimonial letters from satisfied customers to prospective customers;
* Meet any legal or regulatory requirement; and
* Such other purposes consistent with the foregoing purposes.
Stylo Development's use of personal information is limited to these purposes. Stylo Developments does not sell, trade, barter or exchange for consideration any personal information it has obtained. Unless permitted by law, no personal information is collected about a customer or prospective customer, without first obtaining the consent of the individual to the collection, use and dissemination of that information. Personal information will be collected, to the extent possible, directly from the individual concerned. Stylo Developments does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 without the knowledge or consent of their parent or guardian except where permitted by law.
Personal information may also be subject to transfer to another company in the event of a change of ownership of all or part of Stylo Developments. This will occur only if the parties have entered into an agreement under which the collection, use and disclosure of the information is restricted to those purposes that relate to the business transaction, including a determination whether or not to proceed with the business transaction, and is to be used by the parties to carry out and complete the business transaction.
Stylo Developments may disclose personal information of customers and prospective customers to External associates and to organizations that perform services on behalf of Stylo Developments. Personal information will only be provided to organizations and External associates providing services to Stylo Developments if they agree to use such information solely for the purposes of providing services to Stylo Developments and under the instruction of Stylo Developments and, with respect to that information, to act in a manner consistent with the relevant principles articulated in this Policy. Please note that there are circumstances where the use and/or disclosure of personal information may be justified or permitted or where Stylo Developments is obliged to disclose information without consent. Such circumstances may include:
* Where required or permitted by law or by order or requirement of a court, administrative agency or other governmental tribunal;
* Where Stylo Developments believes, upon reasonable grounds, that it is necessary to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of an identifiable person or group;
* Where it is necessary to establish or collect monies owing to Stylo Developments;
* Where it is necessary to permit Stylo Developments to pursue available legal remedies or limit any damages that Stylo Developments may sustain; or
* Where the information is public.
Where obliged or permitted to disclose information without consent, Stylo Developments will not disclose more information than is required.
3. ACCURACY
Stylo Developments endeavors to ensure that any personal information provided by its customers and prospective customers to Stylo Developments Representatives and in its possession is as accurate, current and complete as necessary for the purposes for which Stylo Developments uses that data. Information contained in files that have been closed is not actively updated or maintained.
4. RETENTION
Stylo Developments retains personal information as long as Stylo Developments believes it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Currently, the principal places in which Stylo Developments holds personal information is at its head office. Stylo Developments employees sometimes retain personal information about customers and prospective customers that is necessary to perform their duties for Stylo Developments. Once they complete their duties this information will be shredded, deleted, destroyed or returned to Stylo Development’s head office.
5. SECURITY
Stylo Developments endeavors to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to its offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of personal information. Stylo Developments further protects personal information by restricting access to it to those employees and External associates that the management of Stylo Developments has determined need to know that information in order that Stylo Developments may carry out its business. Stylo Developments has a policy under which employee misuse of personal information is treated as a serious offence for which disciplinary action may be taken. In terms of communicating personal information to Stylo Developments, you may wish to note that there is no method of transmitting or storing data that is completely secure. While the physical characteristics of each are different, mail, telephone calls, faxes and transmissions over the Internet are all susceptible to possible loss, misrouting, interception and misuse of the information being communicated or transmitted. As do many organizations, Stylo Developments attempts to strike a reasonable balance between security and convenience. In communicating with customers and prospective customers and External associates, Stylo Developments reserves the right to use a method of communication that is less secure than some of its less convenient alternatives. An example of this is e-mail. At this time, when we use e-mail, it is sent as unencrypted plain text. We do this because Stylo Developments believes that many of our customers and prospective customers and external associates cannot readily process encrypted e-mail. This is done for their convenience but has the security concern that, if misrouted or intercepted, it could be read more easily than encrypted e-mail.
6. ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION
Stylo Developments permits access to and review of personal information held by Stylo Developments about an individual by the individual concerned. If an individual believes any personal information concerning that individual is not correct, that person may request an update of that information by sending a request to the person indicated in Section 1 of this Policy. Stylo Developments reserves the right not to change any personal information but will append any alternative text the individual concerned believes appropriate. An individual may also request that Stylo Developments delete an individual's personal information from Stylo Development’s system and records. However, due to technical constraints and the fact that Stylo Developments backs up its systems, personal information may continue to reside in Stylo Development’s systems after deletion. Individuals, therefore, should not expect that their personal information would be completely removed from Stylo Developments systems in response to an accepted request for deletion.
Stylo Developments reserves the right to restrict access to personal information where the information requested:
a. Would disclose the personal information of another individual or of a deceased individual;
b. Would disclose business confidential information that may harm Stylo Developments or the competitive position of a third party;
c. Is subject to solicitor-client or litigation privilege;
d. Could reasonably result in: (i) serious harm to the treatment or recovery of the individual concerned; (ii) serious emotional harm to the individual or another individual; or (iii) serious bodily harm to another individual;
e. May harm or interfere with law enforcement activities and other legal or business related investigative or regulatory functions;
f. Is not readily retrievable and the burden or cost of providing would be disproportionate to the nature or value of the information; or
g. Does not exist, is not held, or cannot be found by Stylo Developments.
Where information will not or cannot be disclosed, the individual making the request will be provided with the reasons for non-disclosure. Where information will be disclosed, Stylo Developments will endeavor to provide the information in question within a reasonable time and no later than 45 days following the request, or where otherwise provided by law.
Stylo Developments will not respond to repetitious or vexatious requests for access. In determining whether a request is repetitious or vexatious, it will consider such factors as the frequency with which information is updated, the purpose for which the information is used, and the nature of the information. To guard against fraudulent requests for access, Stylo Developments will require sufficient information to allow it to confirm the identity of the person making the request before granting access or making corrections.
7. AMENDMENT OF STYLO DEVELOPMENTS PRACTICES AND THIS POLICY
This statement is in effect as of May1, 2010. Stylo Developments will from time to time review and revise its privacy practices and this Policy Statement. In the event of any amendment, an appropriate notice will be posted on the Stylo Developments web-site and communicated to customers and prospective customers, external associates, and others in an appropriate manner. Policy changes will apply to the information collected from the date of posting of the revised Policy Statement to Stylo Development’s web-site as well as to existing information held by Stylo Developments
